2019 Pikes Peak Hill Climb Fan Fest

I rode my bike into town the other week for the 2019 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Fan Fest. Many of the race cars show up in downtown Colorado Springs for an evening of pre-race celebration. It's a great opportunity for fans to meet the drivers and teams, and to get up close and personal with the cars and bikes. This year ended with a bit of a thunderstorm, but that didn't deter throngs of people from showing up for the festivities. There were even motocross riders there showing off their awesome tricks.

I took a few pictures just walking around. It was kind a fun exercise in getting interesting shots in crowded streets. I don't know if I succeeded overall, but here are a few that I liked from the evening.
