Hillside Gardens Styled Shoot

I attended a styled shoot at the Hillside Gardens and Event Center here in Colorado Springs on a rainy Monday afternoon recently. It was a great event put on by local photographers and businesses (see the end of the post for details), with opportunities to shoot married couples in their wedding attire, as well as friends, family, couples, and individuals.
It was a cold and rainy day, which made for some really great shooting opportunities. All of the models toughed out the cold with elegance despite many of them hardly being dressed for the weather. The whole event was a lot of fun for everybody involved, and some great pictures came of it. Here are a few of my favorites that I took.
The event was hosted by Rachel Rumple Photography (website)and Tend To Events, who also created the sets and flower arrangements. The friends at the bar were Stephanie, Jenny (@bonbon_bombardier), and Peri with styling by Wilderbag Co. (website) and delicious candy by Bonbon Bombardier (website). The bartender/handsome dude was Josh.
The wedding couples were Mellissa and Kenny with dress alterations by My 3 Threads, and Lauren and Nick with styling by Coralun Vintage (website).
The beautiful family was Chloe and Tarikh and their kids.
The solo senior portraits were of Keatyn with styling and jewelry by Coralun Vintage.
The young couple was Julia and Daniel.
